Happy St. Patrick's Day
I didn't even know until I logged on to my Yahoo! calendar to check my sked. Oh, and I got reminded again when I logged onto Friendster with its green and three-leaf clover theme for the day, hehe. And you know if it's a holiday, Google would have a new banner. Speaking of Google, I saw an article in the newspaper (when Al and I ate at the Original Buffalo Wings in San Bruno) that two Google execs made it to the top 20 richest men in the world and Oracle CEO, also from the Bay Area, is in number 9. Wow. And to think, the founders were just students from Stanford. Okay, going back to St. Patrick's, I wonder if they have a parade. Maybe. Of all days, I chose today to leave my coat at home and now I'm feezing at work! I think airconditioning is on too high, hehe. Sucks how I missed the Cavite showing coz when I decided to order tix online, it was sold out and we didn't feel like standing on the rush lines where tix are not really guaranteed. Besides, we had to have our van's tire fixed. So we went to SSF at this tire shop near Grant Avenue and the good 'ol folks fixed it up really quick! Oh, I had my car's back tires replaced too. Everything under 20 minutes! Coolness!
By the way, for those who want to see Kinsey and Sideways, there is a double showing at The Bridge this weekend and you only pay one admission ticket for both shows. Nice! Another Bay Area news - Bay to Breakers is on! Register here.
