The Bravery in Concert
Even though its a Monday today (sigh), Al and I went to Great American Music Hall in San Francisco to watch The Bravery in concert (finally). We've attempted twice to buy tix when they were in SF in the past but to no avail. Of course, every gig they had was sold out. Today was no exception, but this time, I made sure that I bought my tix very early on before it gets sold out again. I enjoyed the concert much and loved the band and songs, but I felt a little old because standing up for a long time seems to be tiring me faster nowadays. Or maybe I'm just getting more taba! Anyway, I also forgot to bring my digital cam so I can get a good shot of the concert. So I just took pics from my cell. Resolution's bad but it will do. Unfortunately, Al didn't get the set list either since they were all spoken for. Yep, that quick and in demand. Oh well. I wanted to buy their CD since they were really good. Every person in the band was a good musician and could play their instruments well. I especially liked the bass playing. Also, the lead singer kinda reminded me of Robert Smith's voice with a Flock of Seagulls haircut. Not sure what they were trying to pull but I guess it works. The songs were awesome too. I didn't really listen to the lyrics until today.
Now, if you want to see a clearer pic of the band back when we saw them in March, click here. Other than that, check out the lo-res pics below -
Sorry, I only have a lo-res cell pic of the band.
