Hippies Win a Million Dollars
Ahhh, I love it when the underdogs succeed! I've been rooting for the hippies all along in the show Amazing Race 9 because they're smart, simple, positive, and good people. Even though they didn't have money at one leg of the race, people were willing to help them out. And when other teams needed help, they made sure that they did so. They were the perfect model for patience, smarts, endurance, and kindness, even if people perceived them as different. I'm glad they won, and vowed to stay the same hippies even with a million dollars. By the way, BJ graduated from Harvard and Tyler from UC Santa Cruz. Oh, and they're bay area locals too! Yey!
Anyway, I've been so busy for the past days at work, that it got overwhelming sometimes. Thanks to my colleagues who help me out all the time. Earlier we had a big marketing meeting, and they served free lunch (roast beef with fried potatoes, salad, and lasagna. Yummy! It gave me a chance to walk in the beautiful sun, and enjoy the company of friends. The best news of all was an announced group outing to see a Giants game. Whoopie!
