One More Week 'Til Christmas
Time flies so fast! I didn't even notice, but Christmas is just a week away! And I am still not done wrapping our gifts, we still didn't get a tree (maybe we won't this year), and I'm not done writing all my Christmas cards. But I am done with my Christmas shopping (yey), we put up our wreath outside the door, although that's pretty much the decoration we have for the holidays (and a small old plastic tree on the computer desk).
Anyway, we went to Valley Fair to finish up the rest of my Christmas shoppping after going to church in the morning. We got really good deals! I meant to buy Al a gift secretly, but then I totally could not find the department I was looking for. I'll just buy his gift later on.
Last Saturday, Al and I watched The Pursuit of Happyness at Oakridge. I know the movie is feel good and predictable, but I cried (I liked the inspiring story btw). Lots of good movies that are out right now. I told Al I wanted to see Letters from Iwo Jima, but I guess that won't happen. Anyhoo, I thought Will Smith was good in Pursuit, and I think this was his best performance yet. I also liked his son's acting.
