Summer Golf, Games and More!
Pia's vaction was mostly spent at home during the day, but after work, Al wanted to go to the driving range at the Santa Teresa Golf Course in San Jose with Mickey. I wasn't feeling too well because of my allergies and asthma, but I brought Pia to Ross so she can shop for a swimsuit to go swimming at our place. We followed the guys to the golf course before dusk, but since we all got hungry we decided to drive to our favorite Bufflao Wings place in San Carlos. Afterwards, we decided to go to the grand prix in Redwood City's Malibu which was close by. Pia and Mickey got their cars, while Al got the turbo car (i didnt ride since I wasn't feeling very well, but I agreed to take pics). They each had three long laps, and then we decided to go to the arcade and play games. I challenged Pia to Tekken which I always won, hehe. What was cool was all the games in the arcade at Malibu was free! It was definitely a fun night!
The next day, we decided to go back and play miniature golf. At the end of the game, Pia won first place, Mickey second, Al third, and as usual, I was the lowest scorer, hehe. Pia and Mickey also went on the bumper boats and they kept shooting water to each other, so they ended up very wet. Afterwards, Al really wanted to do the batting cages at Slugger's Alley so all of us tried it out. At first, I went on the fast cage because I didn't know it was going to give fast pitches. But when Al told me to move to the 'slow' cage, I actually did pretty good (okay, more like good bunts coz I was scared of the oncoming balls).
