Super Bowl Sunday 2008
Al insisted that we go to church in the morning (and you know why)...Yeah coz it's super bowl in the afternoon! While being out, we got a little wet in the rain because we tried to fit both of us under one small umbrella. But I thought it was sweet, then the umbrella started to fold when a strong wind passed by us. Anyway, going to church always reminds me of our wedding and it leaves us both with a good feeling. After mass, I also got reminded of our rehearsal dinner when we ate lunch at Sonoma, again. Glad we passed by because they had the most amazing dessert special that day called the 'Coops Dessert Quartet'. It comprised of a Creme Brulee, Chocolate Torte, and Tiramisu served with Espresso Gelato with a cherry on top. Before dessert, I got a cream of spinach soup and Al got his usual chicken fix. After lunch, we went shopping at Ross for house stuff.
When we got home, Mo and Der planned to come over to watch the game. I suggested to them to watch at Strike, a bowling alley in Valco Mall in Cupertino, with pool tables, wide screen plasma and projector TVs, and an arcade. As soon as we got there, we saw a buffet table of finger foods for someone celebrating their birthday. We got good seats by their bar section, among big screen projector TVs. Mo treated us for dinner and ordered drinks for us with free refills, buffalo wings, fried calamari, a potato dish, popcorn shrimp, and some ice cream. It's always fun to watch a game over there, with loud speakers in the whole room, plus it gets us in the mood because people are loud as well, cheering along with you, some playing arcade games, and some bowling. Oh plus the game was exciting, especially the last two minutes! Glad the Giants won (so Tom Brady won't match Joe Montana's record). Thanks Mo for a fun time!
